Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 27th August 2026

Cotswolds Expeditions Ltd ("we", "our", "us") is committed to making our website, customer service and experiences as accessible and inclusive as reasonably possible. We welcome customers contacting us before booking to discuss individual mobility, access or communication requirements.

Company registration number: 17032474

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

We want as many people as possible to be able to use our website and understand our tours, booking options and policies, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice-recognition software.

We also recognise that accessibility is not limited to our website. Our experiences take place in a classic Land Rover Defender and visit historic villages, rural locations and independent venues, so physical accessibility can vary. We will make reasonable adjustments where possible but cannot guarantee that every stop or location will be fully accessible.

2. Website Accessibility

When creating and updating website content, we aim where reasonably practicable to use clear headings and logical structure, meaningful links and buttons, alternative text for relevant images, readable colour contrast, responsive layouts and clear written content. We work towards recognised good practice under WCAG 2.2, using Level AA as our target where reasonably practicable.

3. Known Website Limitations

Some accessibility limitations may arise from third-party systems used for booking, payment or digital tour content, or from downloadable documents and components supplied by external providers. If you experience difficulty accessing important information, please contact us and we will try to provide a reasonable alternative.

4. Accessibility of Our Experiences

Cotswolds Expeditions Ltd experiences are operated using a classic Land Rover Defender. The vehicle is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Access into and out of the Defender requires a reasonable level of mobility because of the vehicle's height and physical design.

Customers with limited mobility or other accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact us before booking so that we can discuss the vehicle, planned route and individual stops and help assess whether the experience is suitable.

Accessibility varies between locations because of the nature of the Cotswolds. Stops may involve uneven or cobbled pavements, gravel paths, grass, steps, hills, narrow streets, historic buildings or limited accessible toilet facilities. Some locations are operated by independent third parties and are outside our direct control.

Where reasonably possible, we will consider adjustments or alternative arrangements, but we cannot guarantee that every stop, route or partner venue will be fully accessible.

5. Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome where they can be accommodated safely. Please notify us at the time of booking if an assistance dog will be travelling so that we can consider vehicle space and any relevant route or venue arrangements.

Because space inside the Defender is limited, other animals cannot normally be accommodated.

6. Luggage and Personal Equipment

Storage space within the vehicle is limited. Large suitcases, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other bulky items cannot normally be accommodated.

If you need to travel with specialist equipment, folding mobility aids or other equipment that may require storage, please contact us before booking so that we can confirm whether it can be accommodated safely.

7. Medical Conditions and Fitness to Participate

Please tell us before booking about any medical condition, mobility issue or accessibility requirement that may affect participation. This helps us consider whether the experience is suitable and whether reasonable adjustments can be made.

Customers remain responsible for deciding whether they and members of their party are medically fit to participate. Please only provide health information that is reasonably necessary for us to understand the requirement or make the requested adjustment.

8. Alternative Formats and Assistance

If you need key information in an alternative format, or need assistance understanding the website, booking process or policies, please contact us. Where reasonably practicable, we may be able to explain information by telephone, provide written clarification by email or supply accessible electronic text.

9. Digital and Audio Content

Some Cotswolds Expeditions tours include digital and audio content delivered through the STQRY app.

A written transcript of the audio content is provided within STQRY, allowing guests to read the tour information instead of, or alongside, listening to the audio.

Guests can access the relevant STQRY tour by scanning the QR code provided when entering the vehicle.

10. Third-Party Systems

The customer journey uses Bókun for booking, Stripe for payment processing and STQRY for digital/audio-tour content. These third-party services have their own accessibility features and limitations and are not fully controlled by Cotswolds Expeditions Ltd. If one of these services creates difficulty when you are trying to access important information or make a booking, please contact us and we will assist where reasonably possible.

12. Reporting Website Accessibility Problems

If you experience an accessibility problem, it helps if you tell us the page or feature you were using, what you were trying to do, the problem you experienced, and the device, browser or assistive technology involved where relevant. We will investigate and consider what reasonable improvement or alternative can be provided.

13. Ongoing Review

We will review this statement periodically and particularly when we make significant changes to the website, booking process, vehicle, tour routes or digital technology. Accessibility is an ongoing process and we will continue to make reasonable improvements where possible.
